Hospital Policies at Cat Care Clinic

Appointment Policy

hospital policies_insetTo allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, ‘drop-off’ appointments are available. A ‘drop off’ means you could bring your cat in during a specified time frame in the morning and leave him/her with us for the day. We ask  that you drop off sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions, as well as notify you when your cat is ready to be picked up.

For the safety of all cats in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, CareCredit, cash, personal checks, as well as most pet insurance plans. A non-refundable deposit of the initial exam fee will also be required for all new clients ($59 for all new clients, $75 for second opinions with detailed record review), as well as a 25% deposit for all surgeries.

Patient Arrival Policy

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. Cats are not allowed to free roam the waiting area due to the prevalence of sick patients and the chance that they might run out the front door.

If needed, Cat Care Clinic has a variety of carriers to be lent out for our clients to borrow. A deposit is needed to take the carrier home and will be refunded to the client once the carrier is returned.
