Cat Boarding Services
Cat Care Clinic’s boarding services were created with your cat’s safety and comfort in mind. We know how important your feline friend is to you, which is why we offer a variety of amenities and plenty of personalized TLC so your cat can enjoy their stay with us. Our cat boarding amenities include:
- Large windows
- Kitty condos
- Catnip time
- Hiding boxes (for those shy cats)
- Bird feeders outside the windows
- Science Diet Adult dry food*
- Basic clay cat litter*
- Soft bedding*
- Constant attention by a cat-loving staff
*Although we provide all of these items, please feel free to bring your own food, toys, bedding, or any other items from home if you feel they will make your cat’s stay with us more comfortable. We can also provide Fancy Feast canned food for an additional cost of $4 per day.
Cat Boarding Policy
Examination: All boarding cats are required to be established patients of Cat Care Clinic.
Vaccinations: All boarding cats are required to be up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP (distemper) vaccines. If they are not up-to-date, we can give them an exam and vaccinations at the beginning of their stay. This requirement for vaccinations can only be waived by a veterinarian after a physical examination, and only if the veterinarian deems it appropriate for the cat’s general welfare.
Parasite check: All cats are checked for fleas and other parasites on arrival. In order to prevent the spread of these parasites to other feline visitors, if any sign of parasites is detected, your cat will be treated at your expense. In addition, a fecal test is required to have been performed in the last year, or we will perform one during boarding.
Male cats: Intact (non-neutered) male cats will not be boarded unless we neuter them on their first day. They will then be kept in isolation for the duration of their stay at an extra charge.
Large cats: Cats over 14 pounds or cats that are “extra spicy” require two kitty condos. The additional condo will be charged at 50% of the full condo price.
Food: We feed all boarding cats Science Diet Adult dry food. If your cat has any special dietary needs or requests, we ask that you bring their own food. If the special food is one that we sell, we will be happy to provide that at our regular retail price. We can also provide Fancy Feast canned food for an additional $4 per day.
